On Thursday afternoon the Estilo showroom saw 50 of Adelaide’s premier Designers and Architects gather for a very Danish lunch & presentation featuring Gubi’s latest Salone releases. Traditional Smørrebrød was served, akvavit was in glasses while Gubi Australia Director, Andrew Luke showcased the latest designs from the iconic Danish brand.
The anticipation of the long European winter saw the introduction of new lighting items. Soft, ambient, glowing and natural, the table lamps and pendants serving as a welcome antidote from the relentless Nordic darkness. Gubi proved its versatility by introducing alfresco and patio furniture for the warm Australian nights. Guests were welcome to wander through the Gubi displays, sitting, feeling, lounging, in designs both capsule and innovative.
