Orgatec took place this year in Cologne, Germany. Orgatec is the world’s leading fair for Office and Facility. There were 729 exhibitors, 50,000 visitors and 140,000sqm of furnishing solutions present in Cologne. Of those 729, Walter Knoll, Tom Dixon and Muuto showcased their workplace solutions.
Walter Knoll presented their Evo concept - where timeless design meets sustainable innovation. Walter Knoll believes that the most important material is the one they don’t use. Their passion for quality has driven their continuous evolution to refine products to meet the demands of the changing world. To highlight these ideas, the Sheru Evo, Unity and Leadchair Evo were presented to shape the future through thoughtful design.
Tom Dixon’s spotlight was on their AW24 collection. The Fat Work Chair was in pride of place. The workplace iteration of the iconic Fat series is a welcome addition to their workplace offering, where style and function converge. Tom Dixon himself was present in Cologne and gave crowds an exclusive look at the SS25 collection. Two new products were introduced: the Pose lights and the outdoor collection Groove.
In keeping with their brand aesthetic and reputation for colour, Muuto showcased their Intentional Spaces with clean lines and bright, bold hues. How to entice employees back to physical workplaces after the recent shift to remote was Muuto’s objective. This was achieved through soft lighting, colour and the other keystones of neuroaesthetics These features were applied in a way to replicate the feeling and comfort of home within the proposed workplace. This exhibition was met with great reception from attendees.
