What we love about the Rakumba Highline and Captial linear pendants

Australian company Rakumba Lighting visited us from Melbourne this week, continuing to inspire us through their thoughtful pairing of beautiful design and technology.

A couple of our favourites are the Highline and Capital linear pendants, both designed by Archier. Here's why we love them:

HIGHLINE Solid brass and walnut... what more can we say? This linear pendant with it's restrained sense of luxury was "designed to disappear," allowing the surrounding architecture to shine.

What we love about this pendant is it's slim profile combined with it's materiality that will gracefully age as it patinas over time.

CAPITAL While all of Rakumba's designs marry both beautiful design and thoughtful technology together this is particularly relevant for the Capital pendant. The solid brass pendant, who's carefully considered details give a simplistic, contemporary nod to art deco design bringing fine texture to any space.

What we love about the Capital pendant is it's independently controlled and dimmable up and down lighting, allowing you to continually adjust based on your lighting requirements.
